Ready to catch a Fish of a Lifetime?
Types of fish we Catch!
Each fish has a season when you can catch them. Check the info below for each fish to see when the best times of year to catch them are!
Salmon
Many fisherman rank spring Chinook Salmon on the Columbia River as the best eating salmon in the world. Even fisherman who’ve fished for famed sockeye salmon and Copper River king salmon in Alaska, testify to the find table fare of Columbia River spring chinook salmon. Bring the family along and catch your next amazing dinner!
Sturgeon
Are you ready to catch a dinosaur? No really! Sturgeon are one of the few fish that are as old as the dinosaurs. They have been around for about 135 million years! On the Pacific Coast’s biggest rivers and estuaries, the white sturgeon’s size, power and scarcity all combine to ensure that each fish caught is an unforgettable experience.
Striped Bass
March, April and May means striped bass fishing in California’s Sacramento River. This striper fishery in California very well could be the best fishing on the West Coast. Striped bass ranging in size from two- to 50-pounds are caught. Every day, someone on the Sacramento River will likely catch a 25- to 35-pound striped bass, and that someone could be you.

Where We Fish

Columbia River

Sacramento River

Empties into the Pacific Ocean between Washington and Oregon, originates from the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada for 1,243 miles of river. The Columbia River is the 4th largest river in the United States. I concentrate on the first 100 miles, from the mouth of the Columbia River to Bonneville Dam. I also fish above the dam, from Bonneville to the John Day Dam.

Sturgeon, Striped bass, Shad, and Salmon in my own “back yard,” the Sacramento River provided me with the opportunities that developed into nearly 30 yrs of professional guide fishing. My guide licenses include Washington, Oregon, and California.
